Although the character is small and perhaps this doll is supposed to emulate that.... the product itself is still too small. It resembles a Happy Meal toy more than a $9 product.

Skippyjon Jones is a great doll to go with the books. I actually teach middle school but teach English to those who are learning so I use picture books all the time. The kids just love the books and the dolls or whatever else I can find to go along with them. They don't feel guilty about them at all but usually choose to keep them in the classroom. They'll love this doll too.

Cute SkippyJon, but really little. Came in opened package and was dirty on the white parts. I washed it with Clorox wipes and it came almost clean but overall it was a disappointing purchase

I had been sending the Skippyjon Jones books to my cousin's Headstart/preschool kids for the last few months. He has been a big hit.
So when the dolls went on sale I bought enough for all the kids and they will be handed out during their "graduation" ceremony.
I had bought these Skippyjon dolls for my own children and grandson and they are totally safe and very true to the image in the books. Also these dolls are very soft and cuddly. We love Skippyjon Jones!

I bought this doll for my 5-year old granddaughter. She now has two of the Skippyjon books and asks my daughter to read them to her EVERY night at bedtime. The doll is soft, cuddly and cute. I wish he could come in a slightly larger size, but he's a big favorite around her house. This was a good choice, which I highly recommend to everyone!.
