Product Description
With a rhythmic, meditative tone, the words of The Noble Wilds flow gracefully along the pages, complemented by the luminous photos of God s creations in nature. Turning the pages, one is transported to Amoura, the place where the lady lives and is visited by cherished beings of the wild. The lady is none other than Supreme Master Ching Hai, and The Noble Wilds is yet another of Her simple but deeply touching gifts. Written, photographed and compiled personally by Master, this precious gem opens the door to a world of unique beauty. Here, the reader can witness firsthand the noble spirit and dedication of our co-inhabitants whose homes are under the open sky the swan, the goose, the squirrel, the beaver and even a tiny garden snail. Although generally shy of humans, these animals allow themselves to be photographed, and indeed can even be seen eagerly approaching the lady s gentle offering of favorite foods. The love conveyed is unlike any other full of dignity and grace, yet as deep and enduring as the eternal. All books are printed by ''Soy Ink for Environmental protection''. Such ink is not only nontoxic but also very helpful for environment of the mother earth which is an good example of ''time to act''....

5 out of 5 stars Insprirational   September 22, 2008

This book is for all ages. It is designed to see a deeper view of animals, our co-inhabitants. I hope when people read this book and look at the illustrations they will have a more compassionate attitude for all living beings.

5 out of 5 stars Cute, Charming,& Romantic lives of animals...   September 20, 2008

Okay... My review isn't going to be so fancy or as articulate as the others! But I find this book Very charming and somewhat warm. My 4 yrs old son enjoys the photos; I myself enjoy reading about the author's adventure into the Wilds. This book is great for people who can open their hearts and minds into the simple world and perspective of animals. The animals seem a lot like us... loving their young's and such but less mundane :) There are some things that surprises me about animals and how we can actually communicate with them. The Author sure is a very compassionate person to have taken so much time and dedication into making this book. This book is a great idea to spread Peace and Love into the hearts of others. .. It sure works on me. Thank you and I can't wait to see what else is there.

5 out of 5 stars It is a must have for all human beings   July 24, 2008

I have never read any kids' collection which is so deeply touching, so divinely beautiful and so cute with all the pictures of little animals like squirrels and the new born swans. Their cuteness were all beautiful catpured. Their growth and the unconditional love from their parents cannot be compared to that from us human parents sometimes. Also when I saw the sharing of food among the litte swans, I feel all human beings should learn from these little creatures where we sometimes are occupied by our greed, inconsideration and selfishness.

It is such a bliss to be able to go into the world of our animal world where our co-inhabitants are already leading their noble lives among our human world. They are definitely a perfect example for us to learn. They are in no way inferior to us at all. I feel I am so lucky to be able to have access the book and write this review!

You will definitely gain more and more upon reading it twice or three times or even more. What I found is the more I read it, the more I gain and the more peace and hopeful I become. Therefore it is a must for us all. It also makes a perfect gift for all of our loved ones.

5 out of 5 stars Deep in my heart!   June 28, 2008
Gustavo Salvador (Sorocaba-SP, Brazil)
The Noble Wilds shows the deep nature of animals. Through this book, we come to know for instance that the swans have uncondicional love towards their babies, just like humans do.They forget about themselves and sacrifice 24/7 for the sake of their kids until they can live on their own. And that touched me so much!

Thank you, Lady (Supreme Master Ching Hai), for sharing with us these unique moments you have spent with our noble co-inhabitants, so that we can realize humans and animals are indeed so much alike, all children of God!

1 out of 5 stars Review of "The Noble Wilds"   June 12, 2008

Not really what I expected. Pretty simplistic commentary accompanying several pictures of "the Wilds". Peaceful and serene, but not really enlightening at all. It looks as if the Supreme Master lives in a beautiful place surrounded by the glory of nature, and I do respect her reverence for life in all forms, and the interrelationship between all of us and the earth. Again though, I did not find this book inspiring in any way, and was rather disappointed by it.
