Amazon.com The British countryside has seen few raves like this one--our favorite Teletubbies are shown dancing through Teletubby Land with a few of their friends and, of course, their multiple rabbits. The "Stepping and Standing Dance" leads things off, followed by the "Walking Dance," "Running Away Dance," "Splashing Dance," and so forth (thankfully, we're spared from "Riverdance"). Of course, all this dancing--and even some clips of real children performing a few jigs--can wear a little thin on the patience of any child or parent. While younger children may want to perform some of the moves themselves (the "Tip Toe Dance" looks semi-appealing), everyone else risks becoming bored. The Teletubbies work best when, just like the typical preschooler, they all act differently, performing unique tasks (check out the effective Here Come the Teletubbies). On this video, they're all line dancing. There is some genuine weirdness for more mature Tubby aficionados: a vacuum cleaner starts dancing and a computer-animated bear does a convincing Grateful Dead-inspired number. But for most everyone else, it can't beat the TV show. --Jason Verlinde

All 4 of my children loved the teletubbies at one time July 27, 2005 Jenny B (ks) If you want to get some things done around the house put on any one of the Teletubbies videos. They have put all of my children in a trance when watching. I have a 10 yr old down to a 19 mo old and my 19 mo old watches the same Teletubbies videos my 10 yr, 8yr and 5 yr old used to watch. Great investment...

As the parent of an extremely active and easily bored 7 month-old, I don't know what I would do without this video. Our daughter absolutely LOVES it. With all the expensive equipment we have to entertain her, this ...video is the only item that holds her attention for any length of time. When she starts to cry, we happily reply with, "Time for Teletubbies!" Our vocabulary at home now includes "jumpy catchy ball", "hee-ya", and "again, again". Our little one squeals, laughs, giggles, and "talks" to this video...even though she can't mimic the movements yet, she is definitely interacting and not just being stuck in front of the television. She gets a little bored with the real-life segments, but we can always fast-forward to the songs and dances. We have other Teletubbies videos, but this one is almost all music, and is definitely the least annoying. I want to give this video a BIIIIG HUUUUG!
A big help. January 6, 2003 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
Kids are mesmorized for a half hour or so, mommy gets a few things done. What more could you ask for.
Share the fun with your kid July 31, 2002 It is incredible the acceptance from my little kid to Teletubbies. Even here in Mexico, there is no cultural difference for the small kids. I have found that it is very funny to interact with your kids when they are watching the video. You won't believe the "big hug" you will receive from them.
