I love this set. It's an excelent set for lawn work. I have 0.5 acers yard. The trimmer battery last the whole time I trim my lawn. It is great that 3 battery are interchangeable.

Everything seems to work just fine. It's definitely not as powerful as a gas powered engine but for little small jobs (or for mom's), this is a perfect buy.
I have decent size yard and it used 2 batteries for the weed eater and a battery and a half for the blower.
The weedeater is a little difficult to get into tight spots... the guard is very large and the 12" cord is kind of small. The 3 battery charger is great and it works with my cordless drill so now I have 4 batteries - can't have enough batteries in life!

Received the Black and Decker 18 volt system very timely. Assembly and installation was a snap. Once the batteries were charged was using the equipment and found them to be light and powerfull. Very happy with the purchase. If you plan to buy any of The Black and Decker 18volt outdoor equipment start by by the 3 tool system. Will save you money in the long run.

Black & Decker 18-Volt Cordless Lawncare Center #CCC3000I was looking for a grass trimmer and saw these. I read the reviews and thought that I would try. WOW!!! They are a lot nicer than I expected. The trimmer is so easy to use and does a great job. Not having to bump out the line is one of the nicest features. It feeds itself. No more banging the thing on the ground. The blower is a lot more powerful than I thought it would be. It's still not going to blow stones around, but it really does a great job on my patio. I haven't used the hedge- trimmer yet, but I am sure that it will do a nice job too. Our yard is not real big, but I trimmed and also used the blower and still had power left in the battery. I am very glad that I bought this set and would buy it again. Like the comments say, it probably wouldn't be what you would want for a huge property, but for a normal lot it is just right. They are also not heavy and awkward. Very easy to handle and NO CORDS!!! I hope that this helps you if you are considering buying this item.

I bought these shortly after buying Black & Decker's cordless electric lawn mower (which I also love), and I wasn't disappointed.
The trimmer/hedge trimmer/blower work as you'd expect, the trimmer even features a telescoping body to adjust comfortably to your height. They are also relatively quiet and require no gasoline can or earplugs!
The best part is that you get all three units for the price of just two of them sold separately! Plus, an unexpected but very welcome bonus is that this set comes with its own plastic mount for all three tools AND a separate mount for the batteries. I wouldn't have considered this a big selling point, had I read it, but having the ability to easily hang the tools in my garage out of the way and out of the reach of my kids is more valuable than I expected.
Bravo Black & Decker!
-1 star, however, because my package came with only two batteries (though to B&D's credit, they sent the third with minimal fuss once I contacted customer support).
Oh, and once you buy these suckers, beware! Black & Decker have a whole product line of cordless drills, saws, sanders and other power tools that run on the 18-volt battery system, and once they pull you into the product line, all the other 18-volt products become pretty enticing!
