The zero-clearance concept is simple: the blade cuts its own perfectly sized slot by being raised through a machinable -"blank" insert. Made from high-density phenolic laminate with a bonded-melamine surface, the insert is 1/2-inch thick. It offers superior rigidity, flatness, durability, and low friction. Other features include leveling screws, side and end adjustment screws for a vibration-free fit, a rear safety pin for lift-out protection, and a precut blade bottom pocket that provides clearance for fully retracted blades and bevel cuts. The Leecraft insert works great. It is still in my saw, just a great product, and fits precisely into the saw. I would recommend it to all with the Rigid table saw.

Nice fit. Made from Quality materials. Its not scrwed into the table saw like the rigid one so can be a little tricky to remove.

The Leecraft RG-1 Zero Clearance saw insert for my Ridgid TS-3660 is of very high quality and fit perfectly in my saw. The leveling screws and the adjusting screws which make the insert fit tightly into the saw table allowed me to quickly get a very snug and level fit. The instructions are very clear and easy to understand. I would highly recommend this insert for any table saw user.

I bought two. They obviously cost more than some of the others available. For me, it was worth every penny! Smooth and straight. No warping or cupping. Leveling screws inset are much easier to use than tape on a make-your-own ZCI. Weight wise, they are fairly heavy and do not move once in place. The pre-cut bottom made running the blade through super easy. Will buy again when needed.

As always Leecraft puts out a great product but if you use this insert on a TS2400 like I did expect to spend some time getting it to fit. You have to trim dowm the bottom side on one sid eso it fits flat and like most of them some rounding around the edges so it drops in. Worth the effort.
