Product Description This brand new MEDIUM size yarn swift is made of birch with a fine finish by sanding. The medium size can hold skeins up to 6-ft in circumference. It spins smoothly and makes yarn winding a fun job. The clamp-on base allows it to be firmly fixed at the edge of tables, chairs, benches, or any convenient locations. The craftsmanship on these swifts is superior. We will beat any competitor on quality and price. We are so confident with our product that we offer very generous return policy. If our product does not meet your expectation, simply return to us within 30 days from the date of delivery. We will refund your entire payment INCLUDING shipping and handling. Your satisfaction is our highest priority.

works fabulously August 21, 2008 V. Wee (San Francisco, CA) 1 out of 1 found this review helpful
Great product for the price! I was a little concerned that it might not be large enough for some of the skeins I bought, but it worked for all of them - from my worsted Malabrigo yarns to the fine strains from Knit Picks. The mechanism winds smoothly every time. I'm very happy with it.
The Little Swift Who Could! July 10, 2008 M. R. Jones Swift made in China? Out of wood? Based on a Swedish design? I think it is great! Works as well as my former swift did 30 years ago. This is a functional tool, not an objet d'art. It has no options; it is a swift, period! You clamp it on the table, put a skein of yarn on, and go! Who came up with the title, "Swift Yarn Winder Medium" It is an UNWINDER, guys, and it does it. I don't think you can do it with class, manner, or elan: you just do it.
Wooden Swift Yarn Winder June 22, 2008 N. Folsom (Seattle, WA USA) After trying my local yarn shop's swift and ball winder, I knew I had to save up for such a setup. It's okay to wind by hand, but the swift (with a ball winder) is absolutely wonderful. This one was much less expensive than elsewhere but it is good quality. I don't use it heavily, so I don't know how it would hold up with daily use, but it's certainly adequate for me!
