Product Description The Fenix Tactical series (T) features a powerful, solid, durable, and waterproof design intended for rugged outdoor and military use. It's as solid as a tank. The TK11 can use either two primary (non-rechargeable) CR123A batteries or one rechargeable 18650 battery with a protective circuit, and it maintains excellent constant brightness with two output modes: General mode, which can last for a whole night and can be used for general illumination, and Turbo mode, which can be used whenever high-powered light is needed - search and rescue, long-range target identification, etc. Features * Cree Premium (Q5) 7090 XR-E LED with lifespan of 50,000 hours * Two modes of output, selected by turning the bezel (Patented): Turbo Mode: 225 Lumens 2.7 hours (one 18650 Li-ion battery) 1.5 hours (two CR123A batteries) General Mode: Constant 60 Lumens 12 hours (one 18650 Li-ion battery) 10 hours (two CR123A batteries) * Highly efficient polished & focused reflector - throws beam over 200 meters * Digitally regulated output - maintains constant brightness * Uses one 4.2V 18650 Li-ion or two 3V CR123A lithium batteries (NOT two rechargeable CR123As) * 135mm (L) x34mm (D) * Made of durable aircraft-grade aluminum * Premium Type III hard-anodized anti-abrasive finish * 152-gram weight (excluding batteries) * Waterproof to IPX-8 Standard * Toughened ultra-clear glass lens with anti-reflective coating * Tactical tailcap switch with momentary-on function * Tactical removable grip-ring for cigar-hold technique * Anti-roll, slip-resistant body design * Included accessories: one holster, lanyard, rubber switch boot and two spare o-rings.

Better with one 18650 rechargeable battery November 19, 2008 Lorenzo The TK11 is such an outstanding flashlight that it puts Fenix in the same league as Surefire in terms of build quality, while being far ahead in terms of innovation (Surefire seems to have somewhat missed the boat on high-powered LEDs, that is why they do not offer more than 100 Lumen LED lights). And let us not forget that it sells at a fraction of an L5 or L2, not to mention an U2. I have been collecting and using in the field flashlights for many years, and to me the top two brands today for small, high-powered LED flashlights are JetBeam and Fenix. I would rate the Fenix K11 as being superior to the JetIII Pro I.B.S. or Ultra because it is more rugged, its forward-clickie switch is far easier to operate and its power regulation is also better. I only wish Fenix offered the choice of a textured reflector for a smoother beam. The only caveat I have for TK11 buyers is the following: if you plan to use it mostly with CR123 non-rechargeable cells, then buy the TK10 instead; the TK11 will accept 2xCR123s but it is designed to accommodate the wider 18650 rechargeable, meaning that the CR123s will rattle inside the battery tube. A single 18650 rechargeable cell in the TK11 will give you a better battery life than 2 CR123s or 2 rechargeable RCR123s in the TK10, that is why I would choose the TK11 for everyday use. I also recommend choosing a good brand of battery, like Ultrafire or Tenergy (the Ultrafire WF-139 charger is also very good).
