NO Kid Rock September 4, 2008 susan (Washington IN) This is really bad, not Kid Rock I can't believe you would put such a bad recording on here for sale. Guess I am the one who spent my hard earned money on this junk. Bad Choice
Great catchy tune that will have you smiling September 2, 2008 Garbonzo (Corona, Ca United States) 1 out of 3 found this review helpful
I don't really consider myself a Kid Rock or a Lynard Skynyrd fan, but this song had me smiling and grooving when I heard it on the radio. Isn't that what it's all about? It may not be the greatest song of all time, but it's a catchy tune and one that is well worth 5 Pepsi points.
It really works August 30, 2008 J. M. Hautman (Oxnard, Ca) 0 out of 1 found this review helpful
Kid Rock makes a great fun song. Bottom line...Who doesn't like Sweet Home Alabama? Who doesn't like that Warren Zevon song? Nobody on both counts! So Kid Rock with the blessing and endorsment of the other artist creates a montage of summer fun. The video shows it all. I am a child of the eighties as well and I can relate. The song is very pleasing to the ear and the video enhances the song. What he did is not as easy as it may seem, he tied two songs together with his own memory of teen life. Sweet Home Alabama to me brings me back as well as it probably does for millions of others. This song works. Good Job!
ALL SUMMER LONG August 25, 2008 Amaranth (Northern California) 1 out of 5 found this review helpful
"All Summer Long" best describes Kid Rock's latest "Rock n' Roll Jesus" opus. It's a cheesy ode to summer love, with "Sweet Home Alabama" playing, and "smoking funny things" and making love beside Lake Michigan. It's a sweat-drenched,beer-scented Midwest summertime. Everything is cliched, and it doesn't help that Kid Rock borrows liberally from Lynyrd Skynyrd. Kid Rock wants to be a Bad Boy,but his music is just plain Bad. Who wants this song playing all summer long? I don't. Luckily, Labor Day is around the corner.
