Amazon.com An elegantly programmed mix of trip-hop, vintage jazz, and contemporary female voices (Lori Carson, Sam Phillips, Portishead, and Cocteau Twins included). New tracks by Liz Phair ("Rocket Boy"), Hoover ("2 Wicky"), and Mazzy Star ("Rhymes of an Hour") are priorities. --Jeff Bateman

A Must Have! August 15, 2008 Tinkerbell (Los Angeles, CA United States) In reality I desperately wanted only Sam Phillips' "I Need Love", but I couldn't find the song to download. So I said I'll buy the cd because at least I'll have the song. The cd as a whole is GREAT! All the songs are awesome! The cd is an eclectic blend of really cool songs! Definitely include it for your next dinner-party cd!
Stealiong Beauty soundtrack April 11, 2007 Spot Steele (Scottsdale AZ) The music is awesome. Divirsified and perfect for a lazy afternoon/evening cooking at home with your significant other. The DVD has beautiful scenerey but a plot that sucked. So glad I watched the movie to hear the soundtrack, You won't be disapointed-it's ageless.

Back in college my girlfriend and I would listen to this tremendous album alot, especially with puff the magic dragon. Saw the movie about 8 yrs. after hearing the soundtrack about 100 times; it's not too bad either. Great chill out music, and terrific compilation of artists. Portishead was an exceptional find due to this album, she is just fantastic. Hooverphonic is also a cool techno-style floaty group discovered here. If you like these two, try out Sneaker Pimps "Splinter" or "Bloodsport" for chill, somber tunes.
Great Collection! February 23, 2005 kalalu (United States) 3 out of 4 found this review helpful
My only comment: I would have preferred the inclusion of Roland Gift's song and skip the Liz Phair ("Rocket Boy"). The Liz Phair was a bit jarring in the midst of the dreamy mood of the rest of the collection. Nevertheless, it's a lovely album and so is the movie.
Missing September 13, 2004 Featuress (New York, NY) 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
This is not only an amazing soundtrack, but it's the perfect backdrop for those intimate moments. Romantic and sexy, the songs are totally groove-able and there's never an irritating transition. I lost my copy and have been hoping to find it (or recover it from an ex) before I'm forced to buy a new one, but let's face it -- I'm breaking down without it. The songs get into your head and move you, and I'm a mess without them. My rating of 5 stars means it's an album that won't leave your discplayer for days.
