If you enjoy Ani you will like this compulation. She is very original and this album captures her greats. I guess you would have to call it a folkie type album, maybe more like a hippie-folk would be more fitting.

Warning: Do not listen to this album around children or people that would be offended by the word F**k. Imagine Ani saying something like that!
The story telling, singing, and instrumental work is wonderful. This would be a great addition to your Ani collection or a good first time album to see what you think of her and her music.
What would the world be like if Ani found a significant other and kept them! or they kept her! but then she would be a kept woman and she could tell us about that.

I've been a fan of Ani since the very beginning of her career. Although I own most of her albums, I think that the Canon puts together many of her songs together in such a way that it is worth buying as a unique work itself. Ani's songs have touched me in a way that no other artist's songs have.
