My kids (aged 11 and 13) love this CD and have the music on their ipod. Their friends love it too. I'm trying to get the Beatles' version out of the library. Myself, I would have preferred the versions of the songs in the movie (isn't that what original soundtrack means?).

I just recently bought this CD and absolutely love it!! All of the songs that were in the film were in this CD. Although these songs are sung by the actors and are tweeked a bit from the original, I believe that some of the original beetle songs were better. It would have been cool if the original beetle songs sung in Across the Universe were in a CD, but the songs on here are still great!!

This a wonderful romp through a more peace filled time remembered. The music is wonderful. It's the Beatles. What more needs to be said. And the movie is so cute and sweet. In the struggles of every day life now, this movie brings back the gentleness and the victory our generation grew up on and the fact that "ALL YOU NEED IS LOVE." It reminds us that if we can only pull together, we can accomplish anything. Afterall, we stopped a war and brought our people home. We could do it again if we united ourselves like we did back then.
