Amazon.com Product Description Keep your sports training focused with the sporty Timex T5E931 Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport digital watch, which features a deep yellow Indiglo night-light as well as the hands-free Flix Indiglo activation system. It features a durable blue and silver resin case, large buttons for easy access to timing functions, and a comfortable polyurethane strap. It also offers a 6-year battery life, water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet), three alarms, and three time zones. Sport timing functions include: - 100-hour chronograph with lap or split option in large digits
- 99-lap counter
- 50-lap memory recall
- 24-hour countdown timer with countdown/stop and countdown/repeat functions
- Forward or backward setting
- Built-in setting reminders
- Top pusher for easy access to lap and split
This watch incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward "flick" of the wrist with a sharp "stop" will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

Timex watch review December 2, 2008 Pablo Alvarez The product is perfect for anyone who wants to have a good quality sports watch. It has an intuitive interface, it's easier to use than most sports watches and the Timex indiglo back light looks just great.
Best Ironman watch ever! September 19, 2008 Jump Roper (Toledo, Ohio USA) I've owned sports watches for a long time, many of them Timex Ironman watches. It's easily the best looking of sports watches I've seen. I really like the blue and silver with the black band...and a touch of orange. The watch is also extremely functional....easy to set & easy to use. I love it! My puppy chewed mine up a few weeks ago, so I went immediatley to Amazon to order another one. I'm glad that Timex still makes the same model. Big thumbs up.
Great Watch, Nice Price April 28, 2008 Eddy (Long Island, NY) I bought the Timex 5E931 Ironman from Amazon about a month ago, after researching several Timex and Casio watches. So far, I've been very pleased with it. I've previously had two Casio G-Shock watches which were indeed indestructible (except for the black plastic bits around the face, and the little loop for the band). My main problem with the G-Shocks was their thickness which would cause them to catch when putting on a shirt or jacket. This Timex is much more attractive and comfortable to wear. The contrasting dark blue and silver colors and reasonable size give it a classy look. And it feels much lighter on my wrist. The large display is very easy to read. My only minor cosmetic complaint is the tiny orange "M" on the face which seems a little goofy (but I think all Ironman watches have something like that). I've been impressed with the accuracy of the watch which only gains about a second per week (about four times better than my Casios). I use the stopwatch feature for timing a variety of things at work and at home. For $[...] at Amazon (with free shipping) it's a great bargain.
Great Timex October 18, 2007 Jacqueline I. Chow 2 out of 2 found this review helpful
Purchase the timex men's watch online for my son before he left for his second year of college at UC San Diego. My son had the same watch and recently broke the watch band, tried to just replace the watch band but was told that they did not sell replacement watch bands. By purchasing the watch online, saved a few dollars and my son is very happy with the watch because he has had the same watch for many years now without any problems. Would recommend this watch to anyone looking to buy a great timex watch.
Best watch I've ever owned July 25, 2006 Kevin (Boston, MA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Don't really know why it reads "Women's Watch" in the product description above, as the Timex web site and the Amazon description both specify that this is a "Men's Watch." I bought this watch over the weekend, and have to restrain myself from checking the time more often than I should, because I enjoy the look of this watch so much. It's a little on the flashy side for a Timex Ironman -- a nice royal blue, highlighted by a yellow "Indiglo" button on the right hand side of the watch. This is the fifth Ironman I have owned, all the others I have either worn out or lost. Timex has re-designed the Ironman: the face is larger than on previous models, and more impressively, the watch offers neat new features like occasion reminders (remind yourself of your anniversary, or to put your monthly rent payment in the mail), and up to three separate alarms. The "Flix" function is also pretty neat, as is the new Indiglo technology: instead of the entire face of the watch lighting up blue, as previous Indiglo watches had done, only the NUMBERS on this watch light up, which makes it far less intrusive. Sadly, you can no longer use the Indiglo watch as a pseudo-flashlight, which I had previously done. Great, great, watch. I am tempted to buy another and keep it in the box for the next five years, until this one wears out, just so Timex doesn't stop making them.
