Amazon.com Product Description Keep your sports training focused with the sporty, petite-sized Timex T5E951 Ironman Triathlon multi-function, performance sport digital watch, which features a deep purple Indiglo night-light as well as the hands-free Flix Indiglo activation system. It features a durable sky blue and silver resin case, large buttons for easy access to timing functions, and a comfortable polyurethane strap. It also offers a 6-year battery life, water resistance to 100 meters (330 feet), three alarms, and three time zones. Sport timing functions include: - 100-hour chronograph with lap or split option in large digits
- 99-lap counter
- 50-lap memory recall
- 24-hour countdown timer with countdown/stop and countdown/repeat functions
- Forward or backward setting
- Built-in setting reminders
- Top pusher for easy access to lap and split
This watch incorporates the Timex Flix system, which activates the Indiglo night-light with a simple flick of your wrist. To activate FLIX, put the watch into Night-Mode by pressing and holding the Indiglo night-light button 3 seconds until it beeps. With the watch in Night-Mode, a forward "flick" of the wrist with a sharp "stop" will activate the Indiglo night-light for three seconds. The Indiglo night-light uniformly lights the surface of the watch dial using patented blue electroluminescent lighting technology. It uses less battery power than most other watch illumination systems, enabling your watch battery to last longer.

Really nice watch January 14, 2008 M. Polaski (Indiana) This is a really nice and easy to use watch especially for the money. I bought it for my 11 year old daughter and it is perfect for her. The buttons are easy to use and very intuitive. We did not even need to use the instructions to figure everything out. Would definitely buy again.
Easy to use and comfortable September 4, 2007 LJD (Portland, OR USA) 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
Day and time are easy to read. Buttons are good size and become intuitive very quickly. Band is comfortable and easy to secure. Night light feature is not a back light, but lights up the numbers instead. Can't be seen in light, but very easy to read in the dark.
Easiest Ironman watch I have ever owned August 29, 2007 M. Gianelli (Delaware) 5 out of 5 found this review helpful
I have owned several Ironman watches by Timex going back ages. They used to be so complicated to use, but I needed the features it offers. The Indiglo is better, hoping it will lead to longer battery life. The stopwatch (chronograph) is much, much easier to use because this one tells you how to reset it, rather than guessing. But what I am delighted about most of all is that the numbers are clearer on the face than ever before. As far as alarms go, I can now tell which ones are on and which ones are off, as the watch TELLS me. I always wear the bands out, so I give these watches a lot of wear and tear, feeling that I am getting my money's worth. This watch fills the bill and the color choice was fabulous on the Amazon site.
I've had two of these. August 15, 2007 C. Schaffer (Nevada) 4 out of 5 found this review helpful
I wear this watch 24 hours a day. I get it fully immersed often: in the shower, bath and pool. After one year, the band broke. It wasn't worth fixing, and I couldn't really find another watch that had all the features I wanted, so I just bought another Timex. I've had the second one for over a year. I use all of the features, but I have never really gotten the hang of the lap functions - I just forget to push the button. I am probably going to get a new watch with a heart monitor next year, but overall I'm satisfied.
Not That Pleased July 25, 2007 Dan K. 4 out of 6 found this review helpful
I was looking for a simple to use running watch for my wife. She doesn't run marathons, doesn't need split times and is suffering from the same thing everyone has as they get older - poor near vision. I was hoping for a watch with large digits that were easy to read and very few buttons to push to just get a strart and stop time. Timex has put the stop button on the right instead of on the top so now it's harder to stop the watch. and they have added so many other features that the watch is no longer that easy to use.
