Customer Reviews:
Absolutely Fast - perfect for Portable Applications October 20, 2008 Sinex (New York, New York) This is a real "high-speed" flash drive that is perfect for running Portable Applications - like Portable Open Office, etc. Professional programmer will love this flash drive which offer "real" high-speed read/write. Faster than those regular flash drives you found in the general consumer store (i.e. BestB*y, St*ples, etc. The regular flash drives are actually so-so flash drive run on "High-speed USB".)
Turbo makes the difference June 21, 2008 E. Brophy 4 out of 4 found this review helpful
If you're interested in the highest transfer speeds, this is the flash drive to buy. Especially if you intend to install a bootable OS like Linux on it. I installed Sidux on it and the boot speed, shutdown and (most importantly) time to install upgrades is tremendous! Why didn't I give the pen drive 5 stars? Minor things such as a cap that is a little too loose that I'm sure it's going to disappear some day and the fact that the extremely bright diode stays on constantly instead of only when data transfer is underway. Whatever you do, don't buy the non-Turbo version... it's not even half as fast.
