Great cables July 6, 2008 Stephen Saporito (SI New York) I bought these and others for my daughter and brother. They are great. Much cheaper than the ones in the store.
Works just as well as much more expensive cables July 5, 2008 dave19er (Centennial, CO United States) When I bought my new plasma TV (Samsung PN50A550) from a local home theatre shop, the salesman talked me into getting a Monster HDMI cable (the 800hd model, which normally retails for ~$99). I used to sell electronics in another life, so I should have known better, but I wanted to play with my new TV that day. So when I found these Cables-to-Go, I figured they were worth a shot, certainly at the price, and then I'd return whichever was the worst. When I received these, I A-B'd them and the Monster cable back and forth, on PS3 games, on Blu-ray and DVD movies, and on TV (both HD and regular). I could see absolutely no difference between the two cables, which, considering the $90 price difference, meant the Monster cable got returned. Not that the Monster wasn't a very nice cable - it was - very hefty and well shielded, which might be good for someone who gets a lot of interference in their house. But I don't. And I honestly don't know whether the Cables-to-Go cable shielding isn't just as good. Anyway, long story short - great cables for cheap.
Great July 3, 2008 Toni M. Defranco (NJ where else) Hooked up to my new Sammy DLP and DVD player and the picture is outstanding!
Works just as well, for cheaper July 2, 2008 Bretticus (Knoxville, TN) For the non-expert like myself, this cable delivers high quality. I don't notice any higher quality for the more expensive components. Get it.
Comparison July 2, 2008 O. Elmore (Louisiana USA) I have two cables now, this one and another wider gauge cable with those hard plastic cylinders at the ends (I'll spare everyone the tech talk). This thin, flimsy Cables-to-Go product gives me a thin, flimsy picture. The other, more substantial cable give me a far richer, deeper picture. I have two HDTV's and two HDMI players; I tried both cables on both sets of equipment and the result was the same.
