I wasn't expecting much from this release from HMS, but I really must say it is a great, great album!!. The production is excelent and the songs are really good. Makes me remember their first two cds.

This is one of their best CD's out of their entire catalog. This one has a great mix of Rockers and Slower songs. Derry's guitar playing is excellent as always and Johnnie's vocals are fabulous. You will not be disappointed in this one. I think that the price is a bargain and I have been listening to it ever since it came and have been loving it.

The new HMS recording, Clifton Hill, is great. It has something for everyone--rock hits, a ballad, and strong, emotional melodies. Derry Grehan's guitar playing is exceptional, and Johnnie Dee does some of his best singing. Ray Coburn brings back that burning keyboard/organ sound that only he can do. The production is crisp and clear. It's classic HMS for those hard-core fans.

This album was a nice surprise. It's great to see one of the great all time Canadian bands releasing new material. Good selection of new tunes, with a nice blend of melodic rock, with a slightly heavier sound. It works really well. I recommend!
